Titan Games is a retail board game, card game, and role-playing business. We provide in-store playing space and advice for those interested in gaming. The mission of Titan Games is to build a community of gamers and foster an environment in which we enjoy playing.
We are looking for part-time customer service experts who have a passion for board games and card games. The position is located at our Springfield, IL store on Wabash Ave. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a high amount of responsibility, and able to handle the day to day matters of a retail business. A Titan Games Employee is able to provide exceptional and efficient customer service. Customers look to Titan Games staff for advice on board games, card games, role-playing games, and miniatures. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain patient, and adapt to the needs of a large variety of customers. A candidate may need to assist or complete other duties as assigned.
*Must be 18 years of age and legally able to work in the United States.
*Operate a Windows PC and learn to use the Lightspeed POS system.
*Able to communicate in English and perform at 12th-grade level for addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
*Able to regularly sort, organize, and arrange large amounts of cards and/or board games.
*Able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. and move items weighing up to 100 lbs.
*Maintain a welcoming and clean atmosphere. Our team members are dedicated to making sure that our store looks fantastic for our customers. On average a shift has two hours of cleaning duties which include mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, polishing glass.
*Availability to work hours between 11:00 am and 11:00 pm on weeknights and 11:00 am and 10:00 pm on weekends.
Prior retail experience.
Prior sales experience.
In depth knowledge of: Magic the Gathering, Role Playing Games (Dungeons & Dragons + others), Hobby Board Games, Miniatures, and Miniatures Games.
